At Youthful Minds, we understand that an autism assessment is an important investment in understanding your child’s strengths, needs and future support. Our payment pathway is designed to make the process clear, manageable and transparent from the beginning.
This includes the initial consultation and the full autism assessment process.
The payment plan is divided into stages, so families pay as each part of the assessment progresses.
This payment is made when booking the 30-minute consultation and initial screening meeting.
This first appointment helps us understand your child’s needs, current circumstances and whether Youthful Minds is the right assessment pathway for your family.
This payment is made before the planned observation session.
Observations are carefully adapted around your child or young person. We take a flexible and affirming approach, especially where a child may need more time, a familiar setting or a slower pace to feel comfortable.
This payment is made before the parent or carer developmental history appointment.
During this stage, we explore your child’s early experiences, development, strengths, communication, sensory needs and current presentation.
Some children and young people may need additional time or extra sessions to support a full and meaningful assessment.
If an additional session is recommended, this will be discussed with you in advance. Each additional session is £250 and is paid separately before booking.
The final payment is made before the feedback appointment and before the written report is released.
This final stage includes feedback on the assessment outcome and the release of the full written report, including personalised recommendations for home, education and daily life.

Additional sessions, if required: £250 each
Total: £2,450, excluding any additional sessions
