It is essential to access post-diagnostic support after you have been diagnosed with autism or ADHD. Having this diagnosis often requires some unpacking and understanding of what neurodivergence means for you.
Our post-diagnostic sessions are held online, meaning you can do it in the comfort of your home. You must have a safe space to explore your diagnosis and work through it. We are also offering on-demand courses and webinars.
After the diagnosis, individuals may experience feelings of anger and confusion, wondering why this was not recognised earlier. It can also lead to grief as you reflect on everything that could have happened in life but didn’t.
We will share resources explaining what they mean and how to access them. At the end of the sessions, we invite you to reflect on how things went. We will provide post-diagnostic materials and support. If you need it, we will also signpost or refer you to other services.
Through Youthful Minds webinars and free courses, we encourage further learning of what autism means to you.
